No, but you got a few of them for sure. Chinese 5-spice in a burger? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...... might have to try that sometime.
It is now my duty to completely drain you.

It looks like ketchup to me. Might be curry ketchup, but I don't know if they have that at Five Guys.

Looks like the smoky stuff we call barbecue sauce?

I'm a bit mixed about five guys.

The chips are always fantastic but the burgers are a bit, I hesitate to say it as I'm not sure if it's the right word, mediocre.

I agree, and the chips are enough for 2 people.

Oh my god. I just had an amazing dinner that I did not plan on having. My brother had a team dinner tonight, and the team met at our house for drinks. I planned on having drinks with them and getting to work. But his boss, who never had me as an employee, but we've always been friendly, absolutely and unequivocally insisted that I go to dinner with them, even though I was not only not part of the team and never part of the team, but not even part of the company anymore. So, I went along and we went to Talula's Garden. To get an idea, Talula's Garden is all farm-to-table and organic, and Talula's other restaurant, the first one, is Talula's Table, I believe it's called. They open for reservations once a year, and you reserve the table for one year later. There is no ordering, it's a chef's tasting. And I hear it's to die for.

The food tonight was similarly excellent. A cheese plate, including one that was described as "life changing" and so stinky it was banned from being eaten on French trains. Foie gras mousse for appetizer, with brioche soldiers and other stuff. And then sliced Colorado leg of lamb atop hummus and black lentils.

Absolutely fantastic. And it was covered by this lovely woman who I never worked for, but we always had a good working relationship. And they made me feel like I was part of the team. Plus I got to see a bunch of people I used to work with and under, and who have become close friends over the years, but never get to see anymore because we no longer work together.

I took photos, but I'm far too drunk and tired to post them now, so I'll post up tomorrow. I had an utterly fantastic night. I must send her a thank you message tomorrow.
