Four stars can get pretty dicey too, depending on what country you’re in. My friends stayed in a three star in Taipei and their shower was a hose next to the toilet. I stayed four star, but my Wi-Fi signal was pretty weak.

Am I the only one that sees the humor in using a diesel or gasoline generator to charge an electric vehicle? Propane or natural gas allows forklifts to run inside closed buildings. Heat and some water come out of the exhaust. Far cleaner than most electric from the plug.
    Cheers,

    Michael

Around here they’re all on natural gas, like heating for most homes here. My electric heat pumps are useable in this climate now, but I’m still skeptical.

Tesla designs are literally too stupid for the law to protect us against them.

AI using the drive cameras, context, and GPS to guess at what gear you should be in
Touchscreen gear shifts (to override the guess)
Door handles that can’t be operated in an emergency

Linked in that article is an article about the grisly death of a family friend’s son when he crashed Model S couldn’t be opened up and he burned to death, beyond recognition, in a fire that lasted for hours.

However you feel about EVs, whether you think they’re the greatest thing in the world or the worst invention of man, Teslas should be avoided. You can’t put a tech bro’s mindset into a motor vehicle company where people’s lives are at stake and expect things to go well.

I would not put a power wall directly on my house. Seeing how those batteries burn I would build a cinderblock wall in a cinderblock pit filled with sand to mount it on. This would be placed at a safe distance from the house. Far too many cases of lithium batteries burning in many things provies little comfort. I looked at these for our other home, and did not feel I could place them at a safe distance from the houses.
    Cheers,

    Michael

Virtual driving is mostly what I do now.

Looks pretty good though, doesn’t it?
