Date night with the wife. I’m drinking a Sleigh the Town, described as a snickerdoodle old fashioned. I describe it as yummy.

Once in awhile you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right.

No idea what a snickerdoodle old fashion tastes like....but it sounds like a good choice!

I live in an area flush with micro breweries. Stouts are under represented. The UK/Ireland does stout better

Don’t start drinking good wine. In my wine tasting days in Napa, I’ve found my tastes are naturally expensive—even a blind tasting led me to preferring the most expensive wine offered, and I’m talking Opus One levels here, hundreds of dollars a bottle. My “regular” bottle is usually between $50 and $80 and anything under about $35 just tastes like the sugar they add to even out the flavors and they stink of the hangovers the sugar causes.

My tastebuds are useless after 20€, and I’m fine with that.

Likewise, though I'd replace 'fine' with 'bloody grateful'.

Lucky. Mine barely get excited until the bottle costs as much as a nice dinner and they have a real to do when it gets to be decent entry level luxury watch money, the bastards.
