I always remember Bollinger R.D. from The Living Daylights, when Bond picks up a basket for the defector and makes some upgrades over what MI6 originally had in there. I’ve had Bollinger, but never the R.D. Good champagne!

Once in awhile you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right.

Mulled wine in Riga old town, warms up nicely after long walk in cold. Cosy brewhouse with soccer on telly, took a while before noticed it’s Finland vs. Northern Ireland. Result 4-0, so all is well.

Now heading back to airport and hopefully home just after midnight. 🥱

Thanksgiving at our friends' house last night. He's retired from the wine business. Turkey and Pinot are good friends. He opened the two Burgundies as "mystery wines" in decanters so we didn't know what we were tasting. If you know about wines, well, yes they were very good.

Whee! I bet those burgundies were nice. I don't think I've ever had a white wine with that much aging. Actually, I know I haven't. But I suppose a Chateau D'Yquem would hold up...
