Lovely. Keep em coming Rob. Family resemblance? What do you mean - that the driver looks like hank?

Thumbs up for the lovely Ferrari. However, whoever decided to paint that poor Mercedes that color should be drawn and quartered.

    Agreed - Absolutely ghastly.

As per my WRUW post: We took the scenic route home and stopped a few times to enjoy the scenery. This one is somewhere on the A93 south of Braemar:

Shortly after this shot we got 'blasted' by a couple of Euro Fighter Typhoons at low level (presumably out of Lossiemouth), which added to the fun.
Got home with about 1400 miles on the clock - I think it's 'run in' now.

Tickets to the actual Concours d'Elegance are the price of a decent wristwatch, so we'll be skipping the actual event; but free stuff happens all week long.
Oh, my oh my, if it is a Dino, my knees will go weak.

The Dino was my first 1:18 scale model ever. It’s my all time favorite design and what I consider the most beautiful car ever made.

And its story is a heartbreaker:

The Mercedes looks like my friend when she forgets to take her Dramamine. I’d say whoever chose that color should be drawn and quartered, but it’s already been said.

Not so sure about family resemblance, though. I believe the lead designer on the 300SL was Friedrich Geiger and it looks like the Ferrari is a Pininfarina design.

I clicked this link, and don't have time to watch it right now, but two of my favorites, The Dino and the 308

By "family resemblance" I only meant that the blue Ferrari resembled the model that Geoff showed, a similar era, but not the same obviously. I don't know what model it was.
Too many watches, not enough wrists.

Ah, thought you meant the Ferrari and the Mercedes.

EDIT: In case you meant me and not Geoff, it looks like they were indeed of a similar era. The 250GT Lusso I posted ended production in 1964. The car you spotted seems to be a 500 Superfast, which started production in 1964. Apparently very rare, with a reported 36 ever made.
