My local to work does a bacon chilli vodka. I like bacon, chilli and vodka, but together? Hell no!

Breakfast Blend coffee to cap a good day
Oddly (for me), a glass of white wine (Ontario).
I've always liked the tastes of white wine, but for many years couldn't drink it because it was like a switch that immediately turned on awful heartburn. A few years ago I bit the bullet and went to see the Doc, who prescribed me some magic. Almost 3 years and I have not eaten a single antacid, whereas I used to consume enough on a monthly basis to chalk up a baseball diamond. Now it's like I'm a leadbellied 23 year old again, I eat and drink whatever I want without fear.
I belong to a wine club and often get bottles of white, and was just stockpiling them in the cellar. I have about 70 bottles and just enjoy them at a leisurely pace (still prefer red wine to the power of a jillion). Ontario produces some of the best white anywhere, and I have some great stuff, but I don't have the palette for it like I do other drinkables.
I just pull bottles at random as I learn the grapes, tonight is a dusty bottle of '07 small lot chardonnay. Not bad, but I prefer white less rich (totall opposite of how I prefer my reds).

Prilosec didn't work for me. It helped but didn't stop it. Nexium stops it cold. I've suffered from severe gastric acidity my entire life. Mom said I used to lie in the crib and scream. Back in the 60s, they couldn't do anything about it. I got so used to living with it that I didn't even try to address it. Then I got married and my new husband said, "We've got to do something about this." I found out then that treatments hadn't much improved in a couple of decades.
Then Nexium came along and I've been essentially pain free (from that anyway) for the last five years. My gastroenterologist told me I had the absolute worst presentation he had ever seen.
I didn't get reflux at all. What I got was spasms. My stomach would spasm in reaction to the overabundance of acid. It would lay me flat out for 12-24 hours at a time. It felt like labor.
