Thread: The cars and bikes thread!

Regarding overall traction, I was concerned about FWD off the line and the usual "skitter" effect it has when punching it, but the limited slip FWD system on the Jetta does none of that, the wheels just spin as though it's a RWD car - none of that "chopping block" side to side motion. With the Michelin Primacy replacement of the stock tires, it does a great job of grabbing and going.

Tires make more difference than which wheels are driven. If you can go through the hassle of swapping wheels when the weather turns cold, you can drive a car that drives the correct wheels year round.

Some, usually not about cars, though. The car space on YouTube is generally too douchey for me to brave, though there are some exceptions.

Donut media, throttle house, throtl and m539 restorations are my faves. Donut is done in a silly way tbh but good content (they're back on track after a rocky post acquisition patch)

I’ve seen Throttle House (negative), Doug DeMuro (no thanks), and Jason Cammisa (he’s good), as well as a few others.

I think we did this a couple pages back, I can't do TH either. Too awkward and too many forced, unfunny, dad jokes. Doug is good in a quirky way, especially to get an idea on every detail of a car. Agree with @geoffbot that Donut is pretty good, Hoonigan/This vs That is fun, as well as Carwow/Mat Watson.

    OOOOHHHHHH

Now that I see Donut’s logo, I do believe he’s got an event in Forza Horizon 5. So, in a way, I’ve got a little familiarity with his channel. I had no idea what it was, I thought it was a doughnut company.

I debated where this should go in the what did I buy today or here in the car and bikes thread. This seemed more logical.

This is probably as close as all come in the near future to having an electric vehicle. We bought this new lithium powered Evolution cart to replace the beater we bought a year ago to try out if we would actually use it. With moving things for gardening, the boat, and running around the lake it’s turned out to be one of our most used vehicles. We sold the old one and have this in as its replacement which just arrived today. Top speed is about 30 miles an hour. Seats four though the rear seat can fold flat and has a work deck. The work deck alls us carry plants, buckets and other things around. It has a cooler/ trunk under the work deck. Carts like sports cars should be in bright colors so we chose the Ferrari Red.
