Knocking on wood for my slightly older, low mileage E93 M3.

Frustrating, especially since it's an enjoyable ride when it's working properly. It's death by 1000 cuts - the constant issues, even minor ones, add up to a terrible ownership experience.

Thinking about selling? Not a ton of drop top manual trans cars out there. My buddy in Sweden just picked up a low mileage manual trans 987.2 Boxster for not a ton of cash. A lot smaller car, but relatively affordable and they seem pretty well sorted out as far as common problems.

Yeah I'm always thinking of selling/buying. My company has the electric car scheme which saves 40% tax off a lease but then I'd have an electric car...

Porsche is indeed one or the few manual drop tops out there but the 911 I can afford (something like this) http://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-deta...?atmobcid=soc3

    ... Isn't the 911 I'd want, like semi-realistically (which is this)

It's a rush. You realize how slow you ride on the street after a track day or two.
