Got guests for lunch today, so doing a nice traditional roast: chicken, veg, etc. Getting hungry cooking it.

Can't beat a traditional Sunday roast.

I'm stuck on what Sunday dinner should be. Feel free to make suggestions, I'll update the thread with pictures of what I thought the best idea was.

What ingredients do you have? You're talking about lunch not supper, right?

Talking about supper. I'm in the shop all day finishing my chairs, lunch will be coffee-turn-beer and I might cram a doughnut in there somewhere.

Assume I have no ingredients (I really don't keep anything in the way of food in the house). I will go to the market and do a complete shop from top to bottom for supper.

I think just regular. Though why not the honey nut too? I had to reduce my iron intake and when I was looking at the lists of iron content those two things really stuck out.

I tried, but the butcher had no lamb mince. So, I brought home some leg chops and tenderized them significantly and folded them around what you would normally put in a kofta, and an onion. Seared them heavily on the press and finished with some mint/garlic yogurt I made. Accompanied by peas pilaf and sautéd chard. Was excellent.
