Our clocks go forward this Saturday night, and I don’t think yours change yet, so we have to be careful about the time difference…

You go forward closer to our time, so difference is smaller. We change after couple of weeks.

Doesn’t the UTC stay always the same, so the best reference point among variety of different DSTs. I so hope EU would do the decent thing and get rid of the habit, we have at least made an effort.

To make things even more confusing, some states here have two time zones in the same state...

...Therefore I think it will be 11:00 in California, which should be easy for me. 10AM would also be easy, so I'll triple check after the time change to make sure I'm not on Mars time zone. The irony. We're on a forum about timepieces that tell time and I don't know what the time is.
