I've discovered I have a favorite cocktail: an old fashioned. I'll always have my beer and wine, and I will always like Captain and cider, and bourbon will be enjoyed by the fire pit, but I've finally reached the point in life where I have a preferred cocktail. I like old fashioneds. Vodka tonic with lemon is my drink and an old fashioned is my cocktail. Don't ask me to explain how those two things are different. Just know that they are. Hey, these are my arbitrary rules and if you don't like them, I've got some more. 
Once in awhile you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right.
