Now I have a mental image of Kwasi Karteng pulling up outside Number 10 in an e-tron, just after announcing tax cuts for high earners.

That’s pretty cool. Lots of style at an affordable price. I was perusing that site when I came across this:

    https://www.motorcyclenews.com/bike-...ando-961/2023/

Obviously a different price class, but when it comes to bikes (as a non-rider), Triumph is tops for me, followed by Ducati. However, this bike gives off the same energy as my favorite model, the Triumph Thruxton, and gives it a dope name. The Commando.

Don’t love the black and gold color scheme, but the silver looks really nice, even with the gold tone…front struts? I’m not sure what you call those on a bike.

I don’t know, I just don’t care about electric cars. I don’t like them, I don’t want them, I don’t care how fast they are, they’ll never be the same as a gasoline car to me. The easier and faster and more immediate the acceleration, the more I don’t want them. It’s too easy. Driving fast is supposed to take work. It’s supposed to take skill, practice, alacrity, finesse. There’s no finesse needed if you can barrel into a corner, take it however, and then just stomp on the power pedal and get all your speed back.

I know eventually, unless the tides shift towards synthetic fuel or fuel cells, this is where we’re all going to end up. But buying one now seems like jumping in your open grave while you wait for the casket to be delivered.
