I grow a lot of shishitos indoors, hydroponically and they can be surprsingly warm. I'd say the hottest of my hydronponic ones are hotter than Anaheim/New Mexico/ Hatch type peppers.

I am trying a new mild pepper this year called sweet with heat. It is less hot than the "hot" shishitoswith the sweetness of a bell pepper.

Yeah the shishito is for me, not her. All the other ones are supposed to be really sweet. I've never grown any of them, but excited to try them out.

My Summer Dance cucumbers are starting to fruit and about a week away from the first picking of Dragon Tongue beans. Tomatoes have started to fruit but nothing close to being ripe yet.

Actually Midwest but I really like the taste of this chicken. Tangy and savory.

Ah, I thought Cornell chicken was just a central NY thing. Seasonally, we have people doing bbq pits on the side of the road, and it's Cornell chicken. It's usually for some fundraiser. But always smells so good.

I really don't care for chipotles. Green they taste like dirt to me. Not in a good way, like a good Spanish Rioja. Ripe and smoked is another matter. Into Brad for the day with these ones. Chipotle in adobo sauce on the way.

I'm gonna make my own chilli sauce next week hank. What recipe should I use? It'll be shop bought chillies I'm afraid.
