A few pictures from the village car show. It was mostly Bentleys, Morgans, Daimlers, MGs, E-Types, etc., but then there was this -

I’ve no idea what it is, and this bloke didn’t seem sure either -

There was also the prototype AC Ace from which the AC Cobra was developed. I saw that one as it came into the parade ring, and it sounded fabulous.

There were some Ferraris, and a few Lamborghinis and Lotuses, but it was noticeable that nobody was looking at them. They looked out-of-place, and not very interesting, parked in a farmer’s field, on dried and trodden-down sheep shit.

Looks like 1959 Cadillac to me.

I used to have some friends who were into American cars, but never bothered to get one. Still went to several car shows though, and even subsribed to a hot rod magazine.

This was the back of it, which is probably very recognisable - but not to me.

There were no badges with a name that I could see.

That is the Cadillac logo. It's evolved over the years, but still looks similar.

Yup, late '50's Caddy for sure. Tail fins to die for.

I owned a P5B , only mine was dark grey with red leather, such a classy looking car, I loved it. Is that a Blower Bentley? Rare metal if it is.

So, who’s stepping up and getting this former dream car of mine? @mlcor? It’s even a proper manual, and damn if I don’t say it, the 360 shape has aged really well (far better than more modern Ferrari designs will, I imagine).

    Also available with unlimited headroom:

Those are nicer looking and better to drive. Harder to find in a manual, though.
