    WP and belt is a few hrs work, a long way from a new engine. Hopefully just the simple fix.

    If the dashboard warning was timely, I can’t see how it would need a new engine. I’m guessing you pulled over promptly. If it was halfway to seizing, then yes, but the warning should have kicked in before that.
