They are suppose to be great handling and performing cars. I personally have not driven one. Early models had reliability issues to the tune that every US auto publication had something fail with some being more serious than other on their test cars. I've not followed them close enough to know if those have been addressed. When they first came out I found them stunning, but to my eyes they don't look as good as they once did. I was just commenting on that exact thing last Friday. I don't understand how people can love this front end and not like the new BMW 3/4 series? It's kind of the same thing with vents and ducts and a central top to bottom main grill. Just one is a rounded triangle and one is the traditional BMW kidney shape. The BMW to me would age better since they are more edgy. I'm in the minority there apparently, but I'm OK with that.
In all honesty if I was buying a sedan of this size right now I would get the Lexus IS 5.0 F Type. I know it would still be running with little to no issues 10 years from now. For economy sake you might want one of the smaller engines. I hardly drive very far if at all on a daily basis and when I do I like having the power. It might be one of the last times you can have a big roaring naturally aspirated V8 with nearly 500bhp.

Tell everyone you saw it on IWL!
It’s called a Stelvio Quadrifoglio, and it looks like that. Decision made.
Alfas also have the best badge, bar none, and I was once quite excited to see the factory when passing in a bus.
Less romantically, I’d probably assume that it was flawed in some way, but then decide I didn’t care. That’s how it is with Alfas, I think - the thought of passing it up trumps any doubts.
Alfa Romeo have had a reputation in the past for poor quality, but they are now offering a 5 year warranty on these cars.
The difference for me between this and, say, a BMW is pure soul. This was built by a team from Ferrari that know how to make the individual elements work together in harmony.
The fuel consumption is pretty frightening, but this could be my last chance to get such a beast before the hybrid army take over.
