This is basically a transcription of the page that Scott and Tim tracked down with additional missing names and numbers and a few observations.
1) I am assuming that the early reference to Dia... is simply the named caseback Diastar models. I have never seen a single Diastar with just Dia 1 on the back. With that in mind I know for an absolute fact that the named caseback Diastars go to at least the Diastar 19. I used to have an 18 and Mrs.K still has her 19 and both were named.
2) Three and four digit references as well as five digit references beginning with 0 are womens models.
3) When two consecutive numbers represent the same model the odd numbered reference generally refers to a gold plated version while the even numbered one is steel.
4) Where only an odd number is missing in the list there is a distinct possibility that Rado simply did not make a gold plated model. Where any even numbers are missing I believe we are missing data. I am quite certain their is a model out there bearing that reference number.
5) DD in the charts is day/date abbreviated.
6) Sub variants abound, often represented by a ref XXXXX/1, such as the Jetliner 11735/1, where the watch is generally identical in appearance but has changed in some way such as a different movement. If you know of any add them to the list or let me know fof their existence.
7) Anyone entry with a brief dscription is an unamed model.
Trivial notes of interest.
There are three sizes of Cape Horn; the womens, the mens and the small.
There are separate references for the Diastar 10s and the Diamaster 10s, not just the different names on the dial.
