Replacing my riding gear this year. Part one is replacing my lid. I tried this on in L in the store, but it was a little tight and they weren't interested in sourcing an XL for me to try on. Revzilla has hassle free returns, so ordered this from them, along with darker internal and external visors. Full carbon fiber, it's very lightweight for any helmet, never mind the other modulars.

Old vs new. Surprised the modular isn't much larger than the old GP-Tech.







Next up is new jacket and pants and a new bike. Since they aren't bringing these to the US, trying to find a low mileage '19-20.

I've not seen one of these in person. Are they as Tall as the Ducati equivalent? My god those things are almost as tall as an open class dirt bike for seat height.

I would think in California you can find exotic car rental services and drive nearly anything you can think of. US domestic or foreign.

Access to exotics through Turo is rather good in California—but Turo comes with its own caveats, namely scammers bilking renters for repairs on damage the renters didn’t cause. Just recently a fellow I know on another forum went through this. Returned home from his vacation to a several thousand dollar bill from Turo that took him nearly a month to fight. As for more professional services, there might be, but I don’t know of any, unfortunately.

Problem with turo is road trips - you have to return to same location. And some don't allow unlimited miles. Otherwise the mustang rental experience was great. Now I'm on this utter crap box (no offence to anyone who owns one). Don't know why I agreed to get an suv - I'd have preferred a camry

Update on my Jetta GLI project.

Did a few more upgrades.

Went from APR + to stage 2 engine tune, still waiting for the tranny tune to be released. Next round, tranny mods.
Replaced the Magnaflow exhaust with a Neuspeed, a much more "adult" version that is significantly quieter, but an amazing "braap" when hitting the throttle.
GTI R turbo upgrade with new inlet pipe
ECS frame tunnel brace
ECS front strut brace
JL Audio 10" subwoofer, JL speaker upgrade all around and JL amplification / installed CD player

Aside from the exhaust tips, you'd never know she is pushing around 400HP.



Almost forgot - a new vanity plate too. Musicman!

Nice. Notice and extra stiffness with the tunnel brace? I was thinking for getting the ECS for the A4. I already have a strut brace, so not sure if I want both.

Did you upgrade the intercooler or add downpipe?
