**** Steinhart resale values ****
just curious at how widely the prices on second hand are for the same models ok some is to do with condition and or if boxed tags and all that but still seem just a bit crazy that their can some time be a plus a ton in diff in prices for same model ...
the going rate seems like about £250 but seen exactly same models do a ton either way ...
whats your take on it. I was thinking ocean one ..but is this the same for other models too ? .
As always ismy.

For models like that, I use Watch Recon. Easy to see historical listings. You don't know exactly what the sale price was in every case but it gives a fairly accurate representation of the secondhand values.

These two are what I do for most watches. If they creep over $2k I may also check Chrono24
My take is that most Steinhart in good condition seem to go for a bit more than the £250 you listed

depending model the £250 was the ocean one vintage was the one had in mind when posting ..last year prices was mid three tons now seen them sell for under £200 once or twice and sell regularly for £220 to £260

The market does ebb and flow. A bit over 300bis what I recalled. Good situation if you are a buyer, not so much if you are selling
I have only owned one Steinhart, but I was genuinely impressed with the quality and feel for the price
