Welcome to the Boozy Diner's Sunday brunch special. A play on a Monte Cristo; Fresh ham, roast chicken, Swiss cheese , Dijon mustard and a fresh made guava/Scotch bonnet paste instead of jam. The peaches are macerated in rum and mint and the milkshake is a vanilla milkshake with Whoppers and bourbon. Yes. Whoppers.

I am not planning on fermenting a lot of peppers this year. I only plan to ferment the Madame Jeanette's , if they ever ripen, so I need to be a bit more creative with the habaneros and Scotch bonnets. This is why I made the guava and Scotch Bonnet paste and also what inspired this; peach jam spiced with cloves, cinnamon, mace, white pepper and habaneros. I kept the habs pretty subtle and this jam is fantastic.



It's pretty great on this lemon zucchini loaf that Mrs. K made.
