Very cool. The Mazda CX's are great SUVs.

Very nice indeed. That would suit me, although I’ve come to really appreciate parking sensors.

Nice Joe. I'd have an rs6 estate personally, but I don't think you have them in your country!

Picked up the CX-5 this weekend. This is a photo from the internet, but we got the Grand Touring Reserve trim which includes, AWD, turbo, heads-up display and paddle shift option. First car with air conditioned seats too. The interior is sweet. I looked at the Signature top trim, but the only difference was Nappa seats, a 360 degree camera with parking sensors, and real wood trim on the interior...not worth the $2000 premium.

Despite many dealers not wanting to discount (due to the chip shortage and supply) I finally found a couple dealers willing to negotiate. I ended up at $2700 under MSRP, which despite the current climate is not too bad. Overall happy with the deal.

Same color to match the Miata (my wife's choice, I was indifferent but leaned towards the white). Her car, her choice though. Now we're matchy-matchy

Pretty impressive acceleration for an SUV, but I'm used to the Honda Element 0-60 in 12 days

Mazda is making some really attractive cars these days. Congratulations!

Congratulations! These Mazda's are by far the best handlers in their segment.

Well, I told myself I was done with Audi after owning three of them, but that car looks like it's almost 3x the price of the Mazda... so no dice.

I know, just giving you a hard time.

There are days I like the analog feel of a 49 year old car and others I'd like to be in a Model S being driven somewhere.

Good call. Take your time, get supporting mods before the tune. A wideband and scanning software should be high on the list before a tune.. Also, look at colder plugs if you're going to be running a lot more boost wtih a tune. I'm not sure if I posted here, but a friend grenaded the engine in his E63 wagon getting too aggressive with a tune.

Congrats on the new vehicle. As we age I've become a fan of all the sensors and safety software. Seems like there is always a tall slab sided vehicles parked on both of me everywhere I go. I'd spend money on that before some other things. Makes backing out of the parking caves a lot easier.
    Cheers,

    Michael
