My buddy was doing 1RM personal best lifts tonight - I managed one x 120kg squat, and 4 x 120 deadlifts. Walked a mile home, then took the dog for a 1.6m run. Now making up the calories eating pastry and drinking nz white.

Been about three days since my last serious work out - largely as a result of longer days at work. That said, I do walk to and from work every day for an accumulated 5 km. But I figure that's the minimum to maintain the status quo - won't see any improvements.
Sadly tonight may be shot as well, so I'll be banking on the weekend to get back into a routine.
Now I'm discharged from hosp after the nasty nudge last April I'm building up the cycling miles, albeit indoors in this wonderful spell of weather, to the 100 mile a week level again in prep for finally getting back out on the road again.
Been a looong wait.

10 km run this morning, in a bit more than an hour. Not bad for snowy roads.
5 km walk last night and 30km ride today. i thinks its fair to say that I didn't eat with a lot of self control over Christmas so its back to it!

21.1 km / 13.1 mile run this morning in just under 1h 47m - my slowest one yet
Let's just say that 10 days ago the fear (and thinking) was that I wouldn't be running at all today, so in that light, I'm pretty content.
