My discovery was Bowmore 12-year, one of the traditional Islayan distilleries that everybody but me already knew about. It’s peaty but mildly so, very flavorful and no hint of harshness. It’s actually smoother than my usual Elijah Craig bourbon, which is pretty dang smooth. It’s easy to drink neat.
Maybe just a hint of florals in the aftertaste, but nothing annoying at all.
It’s expensive enough to prevent alcoholism, but tasty enough to lead one astray.

I truly enjoyed Lagavulin until it became too expensive for me to drink in quantity.
Peaty is good!

Good, malt whiskey is hard to come by in Turkey so I'll settle for this. Haven't had it before but it's quite nice
