That picture looks impossible. The o-rings should make contact to the tube or the watch would not be waterproof. Do you have a pic with the watch opened? Maybe you can salvage one of those clips that fix the button from another watch?

nope opened fix the one button looked for the parts none their so look it up then thought £30 for a button forget that and screwed it back up

well if you look the spring would be on the out side so the button gets pushed in so the rings go through the case and the clip snags the end and holds it all in place so the o-rings are both sides of the case securing it at all times I would have thought

yeah as when in use the springs going to be a lot higher up between the second ring and the underside of the button the tension is what holds the first ring against the inside of the case and when pushing you push the second ring tight against the out side of the case keeping it water tight ...that why they say not to push the buttons under water as when you are between the two point the water can get in or in theory thats what they say
