    Oo yes, elk!

We had a quirky burger place round the corner that did all sorts of meat: ostrich, kangaroo etc, and I remember enjoying elk

Interesting to try the different meats, often better fatwise than the more traditional herd animals
It's the final countdown! PM me before they're all gone!

In my opinion elk makes the best chilli, hands down.

Caribbean fish tacos with a green mango slaw and pico de gallo. This is based on a snack Mrs. K and I have enjoyed in Jamaica countless times.

2 layer with chocolate whipped cream and cocoa shavings.
    Quite a lunch.

Celebrating a new album release, made paella - one of my favorite dishes on the planet. This will last us for three days.

I started making my own houmous a while back (so much nicer!)

Have now gone next level and made my own tahini to go in it (local Turkish supermarket was out)
Ridiculously easy (lightly toast sesame, grind and add olive oil)
Will now be trying homemade peanut butter too (similar technique)
    Yum!

I love hummus, unfortunately it's on my do not eat list. Lots of garlic or roasted red pepper!

Interesting Kath. Being vegan I eat about a pot ever 2 days I made my own once (okay the wife did) and it wasn't oily enough. I think, like roast potatoes and butter (or margerine, in my case) that you need a 50/50 mix to make it taste good no?!
