I didn't look at the history, but seemed like a good deal.

If you're looking, I'll keep my eyes open for you. You're after a droptop manual or coupe, 2008-12 E93 3 series or 2013+ F33 4 series? My buddy in San Jose just bought an M5 from the dealer I used here in MD. Local PPI, car is being shipped next week. This dealer chases down unique BMW and M cars, so usually has some interesting stock.

EDIT - these are rare, but a few can be found. 2008 RS4 - AWD, droptop, 3 pedals. - https://tinyurl.com/rbkq5cp An older car, so an independent German shop is a good resource to have.

And another E93 - 2008 19k miles $30k - https://tinyurl.com/qk8vzcb No idea if that's actually a manual or the 7spd DCT dual clutch, no pictures.

Just a friendly PSA....If you've purchased your car pre-owned, check to see if it has any special anti-theft lug bolts, and make sure you have the lug key in the vehicle.

Being my first ever German/VAG, it turns out the A4 has 1 special lug bolt per wheel, and the key didn't come with the car. So when the techs tried to replace my front 2 tires, we hit a snag.

Big props to Audi though, they sent someone from the local dealership with the Master Key Set under a roadside assistance call, and we got it taken care of. Ordered a new key from eBay

I don’t want to go that old. For my next car, I’d rather have something newer and more likely to be less trouble, because I’m looking at a lot of road travel and don’t want to constantly be worried about the car. The 435xi is really appealing because it’s relatively new and AWD, so I can drive in the winter no problem.

I understand, older German cars can be maintenance intensive to own. If I didn't have a good independent shop to handle the stuff I won't/can't do I probably would have bought an M4 convertible with a warranty.

hardly post in here as don't own a car but I do do general maintenance on my dads from time to time well for ages his one head light was all yellow and foggy so I got round to doing something thing about it today I used this ...

got to say from vids and stuff thought it would end up like new but their was a few minor spots that I might need to do again but in fairness probably a very fair result really I may have hope for more then it could do so yeah would say worth a go for yellow and discoloration and sealing the light ..

pics to follow when I get chance
