Yeah it would just be gloves if need - nothing else ever gets hot. In fact I bought some cheap heated grips but the cable is too short to fit, need to get some better ones.

Weren’t they just making old Triumph bikes? They have a shared history, right?

Briefly, in the 1970s they were grouped together in a government initiative to save them, but that didn’t last for long.
For most of their history, they were rivals. People did mix the two, though. I remember ‘Bonnorts’ that were Triumph Bonneville frames with Norton engines.
The personality in this video isn’t great, but the Shelby GT350R really seems to be. I underestimated the idea of an all-out, handling-biased Mustang, but it seems like they really cracked it with the GT350R.

Part of why after getting to really drive one, I could not see having anything else as a track car. I know theGT500 is faster and with the carbon fiber track package equals the dynamics of the 350R (which has had rave reviews from pros),but I feel the unblow motor will be easier in the long run. The revs of the flat- plane- crank are just amazing.

I'm actually seriously considering going for a fixed roof car for a couple of years and picking up a lightly used GT350 (not the R, unfortunately, but the regular model is still awesome) to replace my Z4, buying a convertible a little later. It just feels like they did this so right this time, and I've been a Mustang guy (obviously, I guess, being the big McQueen fan that I am) for a long time, so I almost feel like I have an obligation to buy what I think might be the best Mustang (lumping the GT350 and GT350R together here) of all time.
