If it is the clutch, when you have it replaced, have the shop remove the Clutch Delay Valve. That's usually the culprit in premature clutch wear in BMWs. I had mine removed when my clutch had to be done--after around 62,000 miles. My Jetta, by comparison, had 80,000 miles and was used to teach two people how to drive stick and never had any clutch slippage.
    66k?

I'm gonna have to bite the bullet and take it to the dealer.

Dealer might not remove the CDV. No indie shops you can go to?

My bike tried to kill me earlier. It's a 125cc single. Started misfiring and cut out... While I was overtaking/lane splitting that'll wake you up anyway haha

Had to get it towed to the garage for the second time in 7 months really shouldn't have to deal with this crap on a new bike

If your car does have a CDV and it sounds like it does - get it deleted. !

Oof. I had a similar experience - I have a keyfob like this Name: download.jpg

My naked has loads of wires and cables near the yoke running down near the forks.

One day I was overtaking/filtering and my bike cut out! The tail had somehow caught between a cable and someting else and then I turned the handlebars and the tension on the key turned the ignition off. Any further and it would have put the steering lock on and I'd have crashed! Unbeliebeavly unlucky.

A 'diagnostic cable' is usually of little use. - the clutch slip is real - so the clutch is fubared - I guess it's got a DMF too ? ...... you can get rid of that too when you change the clutch pack - there are people who make solid tried and tested flywheels to swap in.

My initial post of 'your clutch is fubered' was before I realised the car wasn't a simple 'tried and tested' clutch-slave-master setup - you've got something messing with a perfectly good system - so get it removed/disabled and get back in touch with a normal clutch - the damage is already done by the sounds of it though.

Not sure if it's the clutch for sure? Might be something electronic. I dunno.
