So, @wschofield3, @rdenney and I were able to meet today--we had a great time together, first time either Walter or I had met Rick. Walter brought his VC Overseas chrono, I brought my Overseas three hander, the Credor and the RGM. Rick brought his beautiful Ulysse Nardin Marine plus a wonderful selection of Ebel and Movado watches, including the Ebel perpetual calendar chronograph.

It was my first time to see an Eichi II—simply amazing. (And I mean that word “simply”.) And I confirmed why an Overseas would be my first choice for breaking into the Big Three, should that opportunity ever come my way.

I brought stuff not so common to see, but @WWII70 had really paved the trail I was on with Ebels, Concords, and the Movado.

We had a lot of fun. Some conclusions drawn:

-We are all about the same age.

-We all (now, at least) have about the same wrist size.

-I was overdressed, what with long pants and socks. I’ll know better next time.

-Walter likes mayo in his lobster roll, unlike his more refined companions.

-Watch nerds tend to be smart, outgoing, friendly, and generous. Well, at least I tried to hold my own.

-Not all Richard Milles are hopelessly over the top style-wise. (Price-wise, well that’s another matter.) We saw one any of us would have been happy to wear.

-Lange absolutely will/absolutely won’t produce a sport watch.

Did I miss anything?

Hey, I'm from here, and that's the way I eat my lobster rolls. Of course, I like it the "more refined way" as well, but I was in a "traditional" mood.
