I ate Guinea pig in Peru. Tastes like bones, covered in bacon.

Geoff what are your feelings on attempts to control invasive species that have been introduced by man?

Going forward with scuba diving I am seriously considering getting my lionfish certificate. This is a humane catch and kill of a species that doesn't belong in the Caribbean and is annihilating local sealife.
Seems like a reasonable reason to kill

I don't think I could. Not for any moral reason, but just because it weirds me out a bit. I couldn't eat the whole baby birds in Kyoto, either.

I haven't had Beyond burgers. I did try an Impossible burger once. It was pretty good. But it bled. Plants shouldn't bleed.

Both - better than meat cos the animals get to not die, better for the planet (that were raping)... Nothing tastes as good as beef yet but its getting there. The chicken substitutes are decent - give it a try sometime.
I’d ummmmm , rather do without - sorry.

The butcher told me a few years back about dairy ...
Meat cattle are , usually treated fine, dairy though, and thats in the UK

Years ago went to a customer to sort out a problem , pig processing plant btw.
Shown the area, had to measure above head height in a sort of red haze of warm steam, with last breath and know it squealing porkers a few yards away.
Guess what on the sandwiches when got back to work ....

Could easily be a veggie if didn't like meat, or milk, or eggs, or leather shoes/watch straps/sofas ....

True they don’t bleed but they do have hemoglobin. The rep said that’s what gives it the meat like taste & “blood”.
