Yeah, it is. Usually from Massachusetts to Virginia. I was surprised when I found it here.
Captain burgers are pretty much a Jersey shore thing, I think. A few thick slices served any way you'd find a hamburger.

Why aren't hamburgers made of ham?

I'm home, and beat up after a poor travel day. Famished, but just couldn't easy any crap, and after that week I'm just desperate for spicy so I made a fairly basic curry pho. "Pho cari ga" maybe.

I'm eating it from a mixing bowl because it's too big for any proper eating vessels I own. I need to just get some good pho bowls. I took a hard look at a dalton I serve potatoes in at family dinners but it has squarish corners.

These are the ramblings of a traveldaydrunk man.

Was it the ten hours through the DR with the offload into the cattle corral in Punta Cana?

Chicken and apple braised in hard cider and strong mustard. Wild rice, broccolini.

The first indoor pizza of the fall/winter and I introduced new protocols for the dough. While it looks like a thick crust pizza it actually is almost all air. A beautifully irregular crumb. I rarely have baking exceed my planned expectation, but this is beyond what I felt would happen. And the flavour is fantastic. Almost like a sourdough crust.
