wearing the Orient Star today... all day. I like it a lot.

Also noticed an interesting detail... the dauphine hands are polished on one facet and brushed on the other. Also this case is fully polished as opposed to the version with the blue hands which has brushed parts on top of the lugs. The blue hand version is nice, but I like the silver hands and all polished case version better. Nearly perfect, if only they can leave out the date.

I considered and rejected the blue hands version.

It’s the sort of watch to inspire ‘Wow, those blue hands really pop!’ remarks, but that was precisely what I didn’t want.

And yes, the contrast brushing of the hands is a nice touch.
