Went out for German food last night. No pic, but I had schweinshaxe, sauerkraut, rotkohl and spatzle. Yum.

Haven't had schweinshaxe in years! There was a great authentic German restaurant in Tequesta, fl., the Heidelberg, I used to frequent when I was down there and schweinshaxe was one of my go to meals. It's always impressive when a piece of meat that's larger than your head arrives at the table!

Yes, the Tequesta restaurant was owned by the same family that owns the famous Heidelberg in NYC. Alas, it is no more. It was severely damaged in a hurricane and did not reopen.

I’m at French Laundry right now. So far every dish has been breathtaking. The sturgeon caviar dish left me speechless.

The food was amazing, though I was unhappy with some of the service. Overall, it was a fantastic meal, but one of the servers really irked me. They’ll be getting a call tomorrow.

I can’t wait for this update. Server irks Raza at 3 star restaurant. So much so, that it will warrant a call to management, or maybe Chef.
