Haha. I just pulled a muscle in my neck too. I was just thinking I should've stretched. I recently upped the weight, the effort, and the number of exercises I've been doing on my shoulders and back. I think that's what did it.My wife has finally convinced me to sign up for yoga.

It's not usually an issue and my weights were light, but then I usually work out in the evening after a day of movement-natural stretching I suppose. Still bad today unfortunately; I'm supposed to be going ice skating tomorrow...

Back tighter than a snare drum yesterday and today. Massage tomorrow, though. Hopefully will help loosen it up.

Hate to hear about the injuries. I have reached the point where I have to stretch before just about everything, and I randomly stretch my back/arms/legs 2-3 times per day.

I have been on a good track with getting in shape, but I definitely over ate yesterday lol. Knowing that was on the agenda, I did extra cardio yesterday and did lower reps for just about everything yesterday (instead of targeted). Today will probably be a lazy day, then back at it tomorrow. I am going about it in stubborn fashion, because I am trying to gain strength and slim down at the same time. A bit counterproductive, I know.....but I enjoy it so far. I have a couple personal goals on weight, waste size, and strength, slowly but surely getting there.

My wife and I are doubling down on the fitness thing now that the new year's rolled around.

The last three weeks - from our trip to LA until just before New Years was a bit of a bust. Minimal running. No runs of serious length. No weight training, and only a little swimming.

The last 5 days however have been far better. My wife's been getting into squash, so her and I have been playing quite a bit. We've taken out a membership at one of the more comprehensive gyms in Edmonton - and started to get into functional strength training, and a number of different kinds of cardio routines - to get us away from the cycling - running - swimming routine.

I'm sore today, I was sore yesterday, and I was sore the day before that. Feels great.
