    The cars and bikes thread!

I took two out a few weeks ago. They were GT1 and GT2 AWD which are the top two levels here. Engine and brakes were good (I prefer supercharged to Turbo give a choice), trans was decent, but steering and handling were fair to poor as speed rose. The interior needs work and some panel fit and finish could be much better. Paint work was fair. The Acura RDX which was about the same price I could drive through my favorite test track roads here significantly faster in both FWD and ridiculously faster with SH-AWD than the equal Stinger. Only my Jag and the 911 I had have gone though the one turn faster, but they did not have the sales guy in them about to wet his pants (he did tell me the vehicle will not slide with SH-AWD so I was trying to test that statement). Add, the Acura is put together flawlessly.

That being said quite a few Audi and BMW as of late are not done nearly as well as the use to be. I find most of the current Audi line lacking any style, and Audi interiors use the be among the best are plain and boring now and poorly set up. The Stinger is better looking outside, which may be because they stole Audi designer? Give them one more gen since they seem to have a quick learning curve ( if the sister companies Genesis is any indication). You can get a significant discount on one here and a little tuning on the suspension could fix it along with better tires IMO.

I don’t care how fast, how capable, how easy to drive they are, there’s nary a modern supercar that gets my pulse racing like an F40. Idea

The first car i bought new was my Peugeot 205 1.6 gti (got it after a breadvan vw polo 1.0 ) and it felt like i was strapped to a rocket. The BMW i3 i just sold would drive circles around that, and that was the lamest car i had (with exeption of my polo). Cars are just getting stupid fast in acceleration and the electrics are even faster! I just get confused of what i am a petrolhead or a wattman Just kidding, no hairdryer will get me exited
