    An authorised service centre, on the other hand, managed to send me my modded G back with a helluva scratch (3-5mm IIRC) on the crystal, years ago. I remember thinking "how? just how? you have to make quite a bloody effort to scratch it like that" -- and it's them who were supposed to be the ones to know better.

    Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
    Once in awhile you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right.
