It might have been the single best piece of pork I have ever eaten and the risotto was pretty good too, though I used a different brand of carnaroli and I thought it broke down a bit. The flavour was spectacular though.

Waiter didn’t apologize, manager didn’t apologize. Table next to us got their appetizers within 10 minutes of sitting down. It sucks that in the world we live in now, I had to wonder about the big difference between our table and theirs and it further fueled my hate of the suburbs. It’s not just the bad food and the lack of anything to do, it’s a specific crowd that lives there now. Even if that’s not the case with this waiter, I have to consider it.

Yes, arugula pesto though and shredded cheese, Roma lupo to be exact.

Went out for a drink with a friend last night and ordered some food at the bar. Had deviled eggs (not pictured) which never disappoint, but these were particularly good. Then, I got a bone marrow and tartare plate. The tartare (hiding under the greens) was okay--the dressing they used on it was too strong, when you bit into it, almost all you could taste was the dressing and the capers, but the bone marrow was out of this world. I'd been craving marrow for a while, and unfortunately this didn't satiate my desire, it just made me want to eat more marrow.

I find marrow does that. Makes you want more, that is.
