A friend gave me a bunch of mint today, enjoying a few leaves crushed in some jasmine (green) tea

(Green tea is my go-to insomnia drink - it’s 0130 here and still 28°C in my flat)

Last weekend we decided to make Gin Tonics with friends. Never had them before, and it was much better than I expected.

We made several kinds:

Triple distilled gin and Lime


Gin containing brown sugar, with Ginger ale


Pink strawberry flavored gin, very sweet


and a fresh one with some cucumber,

For the kids we also made something, Shakes 'n cakes:



For every recipe we included some accompanying snacks.

We head a very enjoyable afternoon/evening as one can imagine

As much as I appreciate a good gin and tonic, I think I want to drink with the kids

It was a milkshake with a donut on top of the glass. The straw went through the hole, and everything was topped with whipped cream and sweets.
