Jamaican style braised oxtail with broad beans and boiled green banana.

Pretty excited to have found a new source for green bananas here. Not only are they much greener but we drove past this very plantation on our way back to the airport. They also make the best plantain chips I have ever had.

Not even. Domino’s is a mistake you make when still drunk and they’re the only place open at 3AM.

Ha oh yes. Wagyu tartare to start (was actually a bit under seasoned but there was no salt and pepper on the table!!), Botswana rib eye for main. Bone marrow type jus. Fries and mushrooms side. And lots of very overpriced but actually rather delicious malbec.

Have you ever had less expensive sushi, where they put a little piece of plastic leaf next to the fish? That is meant to imitate shiso leaf, which the better sushi places will use on the plate as a palate cleanser. It tastes like a cross between mint and parsley, with a hint of anise.
