Nom. I might love avocado and might introduce it into my breakfasts, though I am a bit of a purist.

Five spice crusted fresh local tuna with green curry rice, coconut pumpkin cream, pickled red onion, and pepitas.

I've heard you are a purist, but give the avocado a try. If you don't like it for breakfast just don't do it again.

Roast chicken with herbes de Provence from our indoor garden, garlic bread and baby arugula salad (also from the indoor garden). Kind of a winter picnic.

Also today, I started curing some boneless pork loin. This is a rather interesting cure for unsmoked pork. It features Mediterranean herbs and lemons. It doesn't make great back bacon for breakfast but it may be one of the tow or three best protiens on the planet to add to a Caesar type salad.

Threw together some pineapple chicken. Probably just have rice and green beans with it.

I also whipped up another batch of raspberry turnovers. Out of all the ones I've made, I like the raspberry best.
I'd love to put some cream cheese in there but it's on the do not eat list.

No, yogurts out, too. Pretty much all dairy, which is killing me! I love all things dairy.

The list of "don't eats" is extensive, I'm learning to cook new ways but no matter what, the foods pretty darn boring.

On the plus side, due to the severe anemia, the nephrologists keep telling me cardiac docs be damned, eat lots more meat and eggs for the protein.
