No. The oranges are high in potassium. Potassium is a killer when you have no kidneys left.
The two bad "Ps" , potassium and phosphorus.

Weird but it's just oranges, mandarins and other citrus are ok.

Grapefruit is unique - it can make some chemo drugs useless. Not so with oranges. Pays to read the directions!

I don't know about other medications but even on my thyroid medicine,it said that I can't have anything from citrus family (orange, lemon, grapefruit even the juice) up to two hours after I took my medicine, same thing with anything dairy....except Milo....

That makes me wonder, what's the ingredients for milo????

Are those mushrooms? At breakfast? By themselves?

    That sounds good.

Some folks just returned from Florida and brought loads of honeybells and grapefruit.
They offered me whatever I wanted, I took three honeybells. Asked my nephrologist if I could have an orange now and then, he looked at my current numbers and said " ok, one on Sunday". They'll pump it out Monday morning.

Man I love honeybells! After I moved here from Florida I would order them by the case when they were available.

    Tjälknöl

This is claimed to be a Swedish invention. Created as a mistake in 1982.

A woman put a frozen rump of moose in the oven at 75°C to defrost, only to forget about it. 12 hrs later she found the meat which was then at 60 degrees. To make it tastier and less tough she put it in brine (liter of water, couple tbsp salt, tbsp sugar, garlic, juniper berries, thyme) for a few hrs. It was sliced and turned out to be really good.

The name tjälknöl is derived from the Swedish word Tjäle meaning frozen ground and knöl which is lump.

Served cold thinly sliced with a creamy, cheesy dauphinoise potatoes
