Ran an insurance quote - it's £1000 a year less!!! £300 a year - bizarrely cheap. Immediately I'm swayed.

Then I sat on a ducati monster 1200r - still comfy, even more power, and insurance isn't too bad. I'm almost back at the drawing board, though ready to buy something stat.

Darth Vader called--he wants his bike back.

Why do modern bikes have cantilevered seats?

They look gappy to me, like a trials bike.

Rear footrest looks very high, with a single saddle, race mode perhaps.
Oil cooler as well as radiator, both big too, what are you getting, is this for track use. The size of the vented front discs too, stop on a sixpence. Guess air adjust shocks as well. Licence at risk just at a glance, take it easy mate.

Obviously I like old school stuff, my "new" car is 18 years old, so I was tickled when an ad for these popped up this AM.

Royal Enfield is back in the U.S.
I don't really care for motorcycles but these are cool.
Still built in India and shipped to the U.S.
RE is the oldest continuously operated motorcycle co. In the world (1901) and they just started opening dealerships here again about a year ago.
I know most of you guys like all these high tech, fugly (can I say that here?) crotch rockets, but I definitely prefer old time stuff. Can't wait to see one.

Especially when fugly precedes crotch rocket.

I like that Royal Enfield - the back wheel looks like part of the bike.
