True, but the Panamera and the Cayenne are completely different cars. The first generation Cayenne (and its sister car, the Touareg) isn't exactly known for being ultra reliable.

The 955 (1st gen) and 957 (2nd gen) Cayennes had lots of common electrical and mechanical issues. Although I am a sampling of one, I think you'll find my issues are not isolated if you research that chassis/model. I remember the Touregs built on the same platform weren't paragons of reliability, either.

I'd own another Porsche, but not another 957 Cayenne.

Mine was a second gen (957), but they had a lot of the same problems.

Yes, agreed--I was just saying not to throw out the entire Porsche brand with the bath water...I've heard the Cayennes have had problems.

My Boxster S was flawless for the short time I owned it (something like 16-18 months).

They're not drag racing (that involves a lot more equipment) they're pretty sloppy if they're money/street racing. Looks like a bunch of exotics flooring it on an airstrip. I was enjoying the sound and views more than analyzing the activity.

Yeah, but it seems like they really were taking it easy. I'm more ferocious off the average suburban stoplight. No one even chirped a tire on a 1-2 shift!
