There have been many many similar goals scored where the striker and GK have been racing towards the ball in a 50/50 and the striker has managed to toe poke the ball over the goalie, even with a jump similar to Mane's and carried the ball to an open goal.
Its absolute tosh that we should now expect the striker to just stop running and not challenge anymore. They are professional athletes, they accept the risk of professionalism and everything it entails.
Namby Pambyism at its best, remember when men used to play football.
We should ban boxing, MMA, rugby, American football - and soldiers, they should have the right not to put their lives at risk too - harsh words should suffice

We don't, but if they connect with a head rather than the ball there will be consequences. I can remember high foot challenges being called a foul in the clogging sixties.

Marcus Rashford has now scored in his first appearance in the Premier League, The FA Cup, the League Cup, the Europa League, the Champions League - and for England.
Must be a record.

The kid is going to be immense. I took him off United's hands in my Liverpool career mode and he was great for me. Wonderful replacement for Gabriel Barbosa, whom I sold to Barcelona for £70m.

Missed the first half. Checked WhoScored. Dejan Lovren, error led to goal. Sounds about right. He's the sole reason we've dropped so many points since he came to the team. Without confidence in the back line, it creates problems everywhere.
