I love the idea of gnocchi so much. I like the stuff itself enough, but prefer the idea!

I like them fine and I love them fried. I come from perogy country though, so fried poatao dumpling type things are ingrained.

Black bean soup with three kinds of chiles.

Homemade paella but with French sausage, hence the pairing with the Bordeaux. Actually it's all I had, but it is very tasty. Was purchased in Bordeaux itself, not a supermarket too, which is nice.

What is the best stew in the world? I don't know,but cioppino is top 5 in my books.Especially when paired with either a good dry rose or champagne. I went with a Spainsh granacha rose.
