Fans of soul food might wonder- "Is that soup a play on Hoppin" John and collard greens?" They would be correct.

I overshopped yesterday so today is a very similar meal except with homemade cheese sauce, onion, garlic, and slightly rarer steak, as you can see. Probably a lot healthier than the steakdiane sauce I bought yesterday.

Huge takeaway platter from a brilliant Palestinian restaurant near us. Shish kebab, lamb and chicken skewers. Tzatziki, baba ganush and hummus.
