I could have sworn I responded this morning.

Ignoring the joke, no, that's Thai red curry and coconut milk. Green banana and halibut curry is probably th number oen dish for Mrs. K and I. If we don't have it at least once a month we get a little antsy.

Dirty Chinese: perfect hangover food.

No pictures. It is nearly chanterelle season. That means two or three weeks straight of chanterelles, sometimes more than once a day. Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner.

Trying out some new potential recipes. Today was homemade papardelle with duck proscuitto and mixed field mushrooms, served with a lightly chilled pinot noir. Even without oyster, shiitake and hen of the woods it was really great. I can hardly wait for the chanterelles.
