    Now THAT looks delicious!

    Unlike the offering from my local Tesco
    They have the refrigerators for sushi and sandwiches facing the window about 4 feet away. And guess which direction......
    A south facing window so it gets all the sun directly on the food.
    Told the managers 3 times they need to do something before someone gets ill or worse.
    All they did was fit a 4' x 2' piece of car window tint on the glass.

    I had the pork and lamb, and couldn't manage a dessert so had scotch. Truly superb food - nice wine, really rather expensive but it was in a castle from c 1103 so I'm happy to pay that. Service was great - I was worried it may be stuffy, but the guys were really cool.

    Great meal.
    Must be a pretty fancy place when they call zucchini, "courgette".

    I just did a late-night thing that I plan to repeat. I dipped a slice of crystallized ginger into a jar of Nutella. I know... chocolate covered ginger has been around for a while... but this elevated it to the next level.
    Too many watches, not enough wrists.

    The broccoli rabe bolted while we were on holidays. We had temperatures around 38C, but the leaves and the flower heads were still tender and quite delicious. One wonderful meal is better than none at all.
