    You may or may not have noticed that Mrs. K and I are big fans of all the bitter greens. Most of our in door gardening is compromised of arugula, mustard greens, raab and tatsoi, or variants of those plants. They are all such versatile plants.

    I am a big fan of baby tatsoi and most raabs, but especially Broccoli raab. I like to toast red pepper flakes in olive oil, add some garlic cloves, then throw in the broccoli raab. Sauté until tender, finish with salt and pepper. Yum.

    Same here, though we usually add a little meyer lemon/lemon/ calamansis zest at the end too.

    My sister gave me a bag of fresh jalapenos. We cut them in half, filled them with a chorizo/sharp cheddar mix, and covered them with bacon.

    Rather heavenly if you like bold flavors. The black beans are there to help on having too much heat.
