Because I could get a new one for a lower monthly cost. Cheapest r6 is £6k or so.

However, I just ran an insurance quote for a new one aaaand...

Those are the 2 cheapest quotes. Even a 10 year old r6 costs £1700 a year to insure. Oh well.

I really don't want to have to do the bike theory test again - it's a pain! But as soon as I pass my test I'm going to want to get a bike for sure. So I'm looking at bikes.

Now the advantage of pcp purchase is that you only pay off half the balance of the new bike over the term, roughly. So £202 a month for 36 months for a new r6. The downside is that that's 10% APR so a load of interest. Or I can get a loan for 4%, and buy it outright. But ever over 5 years that would still be like £200 a month cos it's an £11k bike. Brainwave - get the pcp then pay off the balance with a 4% loan immediately! On a 5 year term I could have a brand new r6 for £90 a month. I'm a genius.

Not the three I've driven, plus my neighbor just got one, and you can't hear it over my F when they are running. The F is much louder. Now, maybe less if it is the six?

Getting beat by autos at stoplights are very good reasons not to have a manual. New performance autos are amazing, and your kidding yourself about the manuals. Especially dual clutch auto manuals. One try and I was happy to give up the useless 3rd peddle.

These in the article are all hard tops. The roofs come off real sports cars. That is like second nature to me. Climb in, start car, put down roof, then put in reverse and back out.

If the automatic is the reason you're winning at stoplights, are you even really driving? I drive my brother's DSG S4 on occasion and it does nothing for me. Doesn't feel much different from driving my 15 year old E class's automatic. Quicker, slicker, and snappier, yeah, but I'm not doing anything. The computer does all the work. I don't care if I'm slower than a modern performance automatic or ACT. I'm having more fun.
